Application Forms and Interview Techniques

The route to new employment often includes witing a good application form and being successful at interview. However, application forms and interviews can be something that fills even the most confident of individuals with fear.

By being prepared and knowing what to expect you can greatly increase your chances of getting a new job. This session will introduce you to the key parts of the application and interview processes and give you the skills to improve your chances of success.

Through this session, you will better understand your own skills, knowledge and career goals and how these fit in with your target organisation.

You will find out how to complete application forms and learn what techniques to use to best demonstrate your skills and experience in an interview situation.

Places are free for poeple living with HIV and the session is facilitated by experienced professionals from THT. While completing participants can also take part in THT's free online Work and Skills Programme which offers further webinars and can also gain access to a volunteer employment mentor and a wide range of e-learning modules.
